How specific does your ideal client *really* need to be?

It seems like everyone already knows that refining your ideal client is like… THE key to this whole building a business thang.

But I still get SOOOOO many questions about this. Like, how specific does it need to be? Do I have to pick only ONE industry/income level/hair color/etc.?!
